Bluewater Bay

Bluewater Bay, an upscale master-planned resort community located east of Niceville and only a few minutes away from Eglin Air Force Base, is home to over 9,500 families.

Covering approximately 2,500 acres of residential and resort development plus green space, there are several different housing options, such as condos, patio homes, townhouses, and single-family homes available in Bluewater Bay. Four swimming pools (Bay Drive, Glen Eagles, Woodlands, Parkwood Estates Pool) and several playground areas can be found throughout the community. They offer swimming lessons with a certified instructor for a fee and free water aerobics with membership.

Golf anyone? As one of Northwest Florida’s premier championship golf resorts, it is also open to the public. Bluewater Bay Clubhouse also features a full Sports Bar and Grill plus golf club that offers group clinics and private lessons.

Bluewater Bay Marina boasts a 120-slip full-service marina complete with dry storage facility, permanent and guest dockage, power, water, fueling station, and fully stocked ship store. It is home to L.J. Schooners Dockside Restaurant and open-air Oyster Bar with stunning views of the sunsets.

Bluewater Bay has four private, gated communities (Magnolia Plantation, Parkwood Estates, Southwind, Windward) and over 40 subdivisions offering and a mix of residential and commercial properties, including resort-style independent Senior living community, restaurants, shopping, grocery store, elementary school, gym nearby at the Merchant’s Walk plaza plus Okaloosa County Sheriff’s sub-station located at the gate of Magnolia Plantation.
